Privacy Policy

Easy Internet, LLC ("Easy Internet," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have, when you visit easyinternet.llc (the "Site") or use our services.

1. Who Does What

Three companies are involved in running this Site, and it matters which one holds what:

• Easy Internet, LLC is the publisher and seller. We decide what this Site collects and why.
• Automattic Inc. (WordPress.com / Jetpack) hosts the Site and operates subscriber accounts, sign-in, subscription checkout, paid-content access, and site analytics. Your subscriber account and its password live with Automattic, not with us. Its handling of your information is governed by Automattic's privacy policy.
• Stripe, Inc. processes payments and stores payment credentials for both subscriptions and invoice payments, under Stripe's privacy policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Contact information you provide to us directly, such as your name, email address, phone number, and business name.
• Payment and invoice information, including the invoice number and payment amount, when you pay an invoice through our Stripe-hosted payment page. We do not collect or store your card details — these are collected and processed by Stripe. We can see a transaction record in our Stripe dashboard, which typically includes your name, email address, amount, date, and the card's brand and last four digits.
• Subscription information. When you subscribe to Easy Intelligence, WordPress.com shares with us the account username and email address associated with your subscription, the plan you purchased, the amount, and your subscription status. We do not receive or store your WordPress.com password.
• Support correspondence — the content of emails you send us and our replies.
• Usage and device data, collected automatically when you visit the Site: your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit. IP address is commonly used to derive an approximate location, typically at the city or region level. This is described in more detail in Section 4.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To process and reconcile invoice payments
• To provide Easy Intelligence and keep your access in sync with your subscription status
• To send subscription-related messages, including renewal reminders and notices of changes to our Terms
• To communicate with you about services, invoices, or support requests
• To understand how the Site is used, in aggregate, and to improve it
• To maintain and secure the Site, and to detect and prevent fraud or abuse
• To comply with legal, accounting, and tax obligations

4. Cookies, Analytics & Third-Party Resources

These are active on this Site now. This is not a conditional list.

• Subscriber session cookie. Signing in to read a briefing sets a WordPress.com/Jetpack session cookie on this domain. It is what keeps you signed in and is required for the paywall to work.
• WordPress.com Stats. The Site loads analytics resources from stats.wp.com and a tracking pixel from pixel.wp.com, operated by Automattic. These record page views along with information such as IP address, browser and device details, and referring page.
• Jetpack assets. Scripts and styles load from s0.wp.com, which necessarily discloses your IP address and browser details to Automattic.
• Stripe. Payment pages load js.stripe.com. Stripe uses cookies and similar technologies for fraud prevention, and may do so on pages where a payment button is present, not only at the moment you pay.
• Google Fonts. The Site's typefaces load from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com, which discloses your IP address and browser details to Google on every page view.

We do not use cookies for advertising, and we do not run third-party advertising networks on this Site.

5. Do Not Track & Global Privacy Control

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. There is no common industry standard for how to interpret it, and this Site does not currently respond to DNT signals. We also do not currently detect or respond to the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is no such activity for these signals to opt you out of. The third-party services described in Section 4 may collect information about you across the sites where they are present; their own policies govern that collection.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may share information with:

• Service providers who help us operate the Site or process payments — principally Automattic and Stripe, as described in Section 1
• Professional advisors, such as accountants or lawyers, where necessary
• Government or regulatory authorities, when required by law or valid legal process
• A successor entity, in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy

7. Data Retention

• Invoice and payment records: retained as long as reasonably necessary to satisfy accounting, tax, and legal recordkeeping requirements — generally at least seven years.
• Subscriber records: retained while your subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterward for billing, tax, and dispute-resolution purposes. Your underlying account is held by WordPress.com under its own retention practices, not ours.
• Support correspondence: retained while needed to resolve your request and to maintain a record of the interaction, then deleted in the ordinary course.
• Analytics data: retained by Automattic under its own retention practices. We access it only in aggregate.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information in our custody, including transmitting the Site over HTTPS, limiting access to accounts and records to those who need it, and leaving payment credentials with Stripe rather than handling them ourselves. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

9. Your Rights & Choices

You may contact us at any time to ask what information we hold about you, to request a copy of it, to request a correction, or to request deletion of information we are not otherwise required to retain by law. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

How we verify a request. To protect your information, we will only act on a request we can reasonably verify. Email us from the address associated with your subscription or invoice, and we may ask you to confirm details that match our records, such as the approximate date and amount of a payment or the plan you purchased. We will not ask you for your password. We aim to respond within 45 days, and will tell you if we need longer. An authorized agent acting on your behalf must provide written proof of authorization.

You can also control cookies through your browser settings, and can cancel your subscription at any time through your WordPress.com account, as described in our Terms.

10. Children's Privacy

Our Site and services are intended for business use and are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective Date" above indicates when this policy was last revised. If we make a material change to how we handle personal information, we will provide notice by email or by a notice on the Site before the change takes effect.
